There is no charge for medical record review. After reviewing the records,
    Dr. Brandeis will determine:
    • if you are a good candidate for treatment at the Brandeis Fertility Center
    • if additional studies must be done
    • if corrective measures must be done prior to your seeing us.

Please note that certain blood tests such as infectious disease screening (Hepatitis A, B and C, HIV, Rubella and in some cases, cystic fibrosis screening are required prior to starting fertility treatments with us).

Results of these tests done outside the US will not be accepted and must be repeated.

What record results will we accept?
    • Hysterosalpinogram – we prefer that you bring the films in addition to the results
    • Transvaginal sonogram – again, we prefer you bring copies of the sonogram films, if possible
    • Reports of surgery
    • Pathology reports
    • Reports of sperm analysis testing
    • Hormonal studies such as FSH, LH, Prolactin, Thyroid
    • Clinical opinion letters from physicians you’ve consulted

Please be advised that some diagnostic studies may need to be repeated. We will make all efforts to refer you to a laboratory or urology facility that offers a reasonable price structure in addition to high quality services.

Due to the number of patients that we see, we unfortunately cannot accept responsibility to obtain a visa for you. We will be glad to furnish you with a letter that explains in detail the nature of your medical problem and the medical assistance that we are seeking to provide you with.

Dr. Brandeis returns all calls personally and please know the time difference if you are trying to reach Dr. Brandeis directly. Dr. Brandeis prefers to return calls between 8:30-11 most evenings EST.
